Wood Pallet Repair & Recycling
At Girard Wood Products, Inc, we specialize in wood pallet repair and recycling, providing businesses with cost-effective and sustainable solutions to manage their pallets. Whether you need repair services for damaged pallets, or reliable pallet recycling to reduce waste, we have the expertise and equipment to get the job done.
Sustainable, High-Quality Recycled Pallets You Can Count On
At Girard Wood Products, we believe sustainability and performance go hand in hand. Our Recycled Pallet Program offers businesses a cost-effective, eco-friendly solution without compromising the durability and reliability you expect from our pallets.
Our recycled pallet options make great economic and environmental sense. There was a time when damaged pallets went directly to the landfill but now many are being repaired and sent back into service. Remanufacturing pallets, many that have only one or two broken boards, not only reduces waste but enables our customers to save money without giving in on quality. Using recycled pallets made with reclaimed wood helps to preserve natural resources and costs considerably less than purchasing new ones, an important reality in today’s market, where the price of lumber continues to climb.
BY THE NUMBERS:
Are recycled pallets a better option for your business?

Pre-cut lumber
The strength of every pallet starts with the right lumber. By sourcing from trusted domestic lumber yards, we not only ensure consistent quality and durability, but also support sustainable forestry practices—providing you with a pallet that protects your products while protecting our environment.

Quality Control
At Girard, strict quality control is built into every step of our process. From materials to final assembly, our standards ensure each pallet meets the highest level of strength, consistency, and reliability—so you can trust your products are shipped on pallets built to perform.

Fasteners
High-quality fasteners are the backbone of a reliable pallet. Our specialized nails feature a galvanized twisted pattern that locks securely into the wood, preventing loosening over time. This ensures your pallets stay stronger for longer, protecting your products and reducing costly failures in transit.

Delivered Product
At Girard, customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do. From on-time delivery to consistent pallet performance, we go beyond manufacturing—we build trust by ensuring every order meets your expectations and supports your business success.
FAQ
What types of wood pallets do you offer (new vs. recycled)?
We offer both new wood pallets built from quality lumber as well as recycled (remanufactured) pallets made from reclaimed wood and repaired components. Our recycled pallet option provides a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to new pallets.
How much can I save by using recycled pallets instead of new pallets?
The potential savings from using recycled pallets can vary depending on factors like pallet size, material quality, and your specific shipping needs.

Can you collect my used pallets and manage inventory?
Absolutely. For customers with a steady flow of pallets, we offer managed inventory solutions: we collect unloaded pallets, sort and store the intact ones, repair broken ones, and replace the irreparable ones. This helps streamline logistics and reduce handling costs. Learn more about our Vendor Managed Inventory program >
Are recycled pallets as reliable as new wood pallets?
Yes — when properly remanufactured, recycled pallets offer structural integrity comparable to new pallets. We use precise design and quality control to integrate recycled pallets into high-volume, mixed-goods operations with confidence.
How does your pallet repair process work?
When we collect used or damaged pallets, we inspect each one. Boards or components that can be salvaged are reused; damaged parts are replaced. Fully repairable pallets go back into service. Those beyond repair are responsibly disposed of or recycled. We also repair pallets “in house” to maximize reuse.
How do you ensure the pallets you build (new or recycled) match my requirements?
We use the Pallet Design System (PDS) to evaluate your product, shipping, and handling needs, and design pallets (stringer or block) to align with your warehouse or transport systems. Each pallet is tailored for your specs.
How can I get a quote or place an order for new or recycled pallets?
You can request a quote directly via our website or contact us by phone or email. Provide your pallet specifications (size, load, quantity, use case) and location, and we’ll prepare a tailored proposal.
Which regions do you service for pallets, repairs, and disposal?
We are based in Puyallup, WA, and service clients in Washington and surrounding areas. Please contact us or request a quote to confirm whether we serve your location.
